RTVE LEADS ON 8K IN SPAIN WITH SAPEC AS TECNOLOGICAL COMITTE MEMBER
The RTVE Chair at UPM is going to lead the world first broadcast test pilot of the UHD 8K signal in DVB-T2.
This broadcast will take place this Wednesday, October 21st at 10am with SAPEC as a member of the Technology Committee of the Chair together with Cellnex Telecom, Dolby, and Televes Corporation, as well as Abacanto as a collaborating entity. To capture the signal, we have had the collaboration of SONY, and with SGO for the post-production of the signal.
Due to the current situation and following the recommendations and security measures, the event will be broadcasted online (blended).
