NAB2018: SAPEC BETS FOR ISDB-Tb SOLUTIONS

One more year, Sapec will exhibit its products at NAB 2018 where visitors will be able to find out about the innovations for this year. In addition, we will show those new features along with the rest of the equipment designed and manufactured by Sapec.

As the main novelty, you can see LAGUNA equipment, a multi-encoder in 1RU capable of encoding up to three different HD/SD services. You can license it to generate a OneSeg service from one of the three signal sources of these services.

LAGUNA can be transformed into a complete ISDB-Tb headend by adding a built-in re-multiplexer and modulator in the same unit (also possible on ATSC or DVB).

Visitors won’t miss either the Avantos UHD decoder. It has had a great response for HEVC 4K applications with an IP interface that is able to decode 4K signals in HEVC and can also be licensed as an HD in HEVC/MPEG-2/H .264 decoder.

In addition, 4:2:0/4:2:2 SD/HD encoders and decoders for contribution and distribution will be exhibited from Avantos (HEVC/MPEG-2/H.264) and Sivac One (MPEG-2/H.264) families and the range of Gredos IRDs, in which HEVC decoding is available.
