Madrid, 4 November 2024.- SAPEC returns for another year to the 4K HDR Summit, the world’s premier event bringing together the world’s leading technology and content companies to share their latest developments, innovations and approaches to the UHD universe. With two face-to-face sessions (Monday 11 and Tuesday 12) in Seville and two virtual sessions (Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14), the event will bring together major industry players such as RTVE, BBC, SWR/ARD, RAI, OBS, NHK, Televisa, RTVA, Mediapro and 3Cat with world leaders in the production and development of broadcast technology. In this field, SAPEC will play a leading role through a showcase that will combine contribution, distribution, bonding and 5G networks created in collaboration with UNIVISO and ACROMOVE, two of its represented brands. David Muñoz Serrano, Business Development at SAPEC, expresses the company’s enthusiasm for participating in the 4K HDR Summit: “At SAPEC, we are delighted to once again participate in an event that continues to grow year after year to accompany the unstoppable evolution of Ultra High Definition. SAPEC will be present in Seville to continue building the future of television together.” A UHD-5G showcase powered by SAPEC
Attendees visiting the Nissan Cartuja Auditorium will be able to experience a state-of-the-art UHD workflow based on 12G-SDI technology and a private 5G-SA network powered by SAPEC. In parallel with this complex technology deployment, the SAPEC team will use a Video MOS probe to demonstrate the 4K signal analysis capabilities of this solution, which uses artificial intelligence to measure the quality of experience (QoE) of audiovisual sources without the need for a reference signal. “We have worked hard to deliver a world-class presentation at the 4K HDR Summit that will allow all attendees to discover how 5G private networks, coupled with our solutions, can build a robust and efficient workflow for all types of productions and mass events where traffic congestion can severely impact signal transport,” concludes Muñoz.
