LAGUNA – Multi-encoder H.264

Optimizing space and reducing power consumption is now possible with our new line of multi-encoders: LAGUNA.

This new family encodes up to 2xHD signals or 1xHD plus 2xSD in H264 in only 1RU. LAGUNA also encodes one input into a One-SEG signal and generates an MPTS signal supporting DVB, ATSC or ISDB-Tb formats.

IP and ASI interfaces are available in these models, as well as an optional DVB-S/S2X, ATSC or ISDB-Tb modulator. When choosing the ISDB-Tb modulation, the internal re-multiplex  creates the BTS signal.

LAGUNA is a powerful cost-effective solution for TDT headers and/or satellite applications. Due to its outstanding characteristics, LAGUNA is also an excellent choice for IP signal distribution and contribution.

GREDOS – HEVC

GHM5200 is the new encoder with DVB-S2/S2X modulator that completes the GREDOS line. This new encoder supports HEVC compression, complementing the already existing encoders of this family.
By implementing the new ITU H.265 compression standard, the bandwidth in satellite links is reduced significantly and the video signal quality is preserved. Therefore, ITU H.265 standard makes possible this highly cost-effective solution.

GHM5200 supports interlaced HD/SD signals, 422/420 profiles, 10 bits processing and multiple audio encoding formats, such as DD and DD+. GHM5200 reduces the bitrate by more 40% compared to H264. Furthermore, the GHM5200 has increased functionality as it can be configured to encode H.264 and/or MPEG2. The new product keeps the features of the GREDOS line:
Simultaneous satellite, IP (SMPTE2022) and ASI outputs.
Logo insertion on the input signal.
Redundancy options without the need for external servers.
Redundant power supply (AC or DC).

In addition, the new  GREDOS IRD’s  also support HEVC signal decoding, complementing the new modulator-encoder, GHM5200.

GREDOS is the ideal solution to reduce operation costs in contribution or distribution of TV signals via satellite.
AVANTOS – UHD-HEVC

AVANTOS is a line specially designed to support the ITU.H-265 standard. The line is now expanded by the addition of a professional HEVC decoder for UHD(4K), the new VUD5200.

VUD5200 supports 420/422 profiles with 8/10bpp and up to 80Mbps in UHD/HD/SD, multiple audio decoder formats, SPTS or MPTS by IP (SMPTE2022-1/2), 3G-SDI output interfaces and redundant power supplies.
