SAPEC to Showcase UHD, HDR and AI Solutions at 4K Summit 2026 in Seville

SAPEC will participate as an exhibitor at the upcoming 4K Summit, taking place in Seville on December 2 and 3, where the company will present its latest solutions for contribution, distribution and video quality assessment in UHD and HDR environments, together with innovative technologies for 5G-enabled audiovisual production.
During the event, SAPEC will showcase its two UHD-capable codec families:

Visitors will also have the opportunity to experience VideoMOS, SAPEC’s AI-based video quality assessment probe, demonstrated with UHD HDR content. This technology estimates perceived video quality as experienced by end users, helping operators and service providers monitor and optimize next-generation audiovisual services.
In addition, SAPEC will demonstrate a complete remote production and mobility solution built around an Acromove portable private 5G network, integrated with a Univiso 4K transmission backpack, highlighting the benefits of 5G connectivity for professional UHD video contribution.
Conference Session on UHD HDR Subjective Assessments
As part of the conference program, Juan José Anaya, Technical Director at SAPEC, will participate in a presentation on December 2 at 13:15 PM.
The session will focus on the results of subjective assessment tests conducted within the framework of UHD Spain, aimed at understanding viewer preferences when comparing native UHD HDR content with alternative formats such as HD SDR or upconverted UHD signals.
The speakers will present the testing methodology, evaluation criteria and key findings, providing valuable insights for broadcasters, technology providers and industry stakeholders involved in the transition towards Ultra High Definition television services.
