NEW REMOTE MONITORING DECODER BY BBRIGHT
BBright, company represented by SAPEC in Spain and BroTelec in Mexico, launches RMD (Remote Monitoring Decoder), a multichannel decoder capable of analysing and monitoring up to 24 HD or 6 UHD signals.
With RMD, BBright expands its actual range of UHD solutions (ingest, contribution, transport, production, and Playout) providing the necessary equipment for any broadcast continuity (HD->UHD) where the quality of the content and the versatility of the equipment are the key factors.
BBright RMD is designed to decode, monitor, and simultaneously analyse multiple HD and UHD signals, including audio and metadata. It supports signals in Transport Stream format in both IP and DVB-ASI and is capable of decoding video in MPEG-2, H.264, HEVC and JPEG2000 and audio in MPEG-1 LII, AAC and Dolby (DD / DD + / DD + JOC / Atmos / E / AC4).
Through its intuitive WEB interface, the solution provides very complete information at the TS level through the analysis according to the ETR 290 Level 1 standard and of the video and audio signals, where thumbnails, metadata (HDR, Closed Caption, TXT, subtitles…), audio bars and bandwidth for each PID can be displayed.
This SW-based platform is an ideal solution for MCR (Master Control Room) where the TS are received in different formats and resolutions, but it is also very useful to monitor contributions and productions.
