The LAGUNA MEDIA PROCESSOR (LMP) by SAPEC, which until now had the OCTAL, QUAD and DUAL models, has been extended following the same philosophy of the solution with a new model ideal for 1-channel applications: LAGUNA SINGLE.

With LAGUNA SINGLE, Broadcasters and service providers have the possibility of having a versatile solution configurable either as encoder or decoder by the click of a button on the web interface of LAGUNA.

LAGUNA SINGLE, inherits from its older brothers (LAGUNA DUAL, QUAD y OCTAL) all the functionalities and key points as for example:

• Versatility: One HW, different functionalities and configurable layouts
• Encoding H.264/MPEG-2 HD/SD & Decoding HEVC/H.264/MPEG-2 with up to 8x Audio PID (Stereo)
• 2x SDI/ASI Interfaces & up to 4x IP interfaces with FEC SMPTE 2022-1/2 UDP/RTP Multicast/Unicast
• Conversion SCTE104<->SCTE35 (in both directions: Encoder & decoder)
• Hot swappable redundant PSU (AC/DC)
